Lombok is the little sister of Bali, the unexplored gem that most people only use as a transportstop to the Gili:s. There are so many things to see and do here. The becheas in the south are extraordinary in its beauty and the waves are perfect for surfing. And when the wind is right you can kitesurf along the coastline. There is a huge volcano, Rinjani which rises 3726 metres above sealevel which makes it the second highest volcano in Indonesia. Lombok is easily accessed by air from Kuala Lumpur two times a day (airasia) or Jakarta or Bali several times a day (Lion air, Wings air) and of course by boat from Bali, you can go from Padang Bai to Lombok or to the Gili islands.
The most beautiful season if you want to travel to Lombok and spend your holiday here is between May until August (high season) between December until February is low season with showers almost every day but still you can get warm beautiful days and the peak season is between September to November and March to April.
